When you try to print a Publisher publication as composite cyan-magenta-yellow-black (CMYK), you may receive a PostScript error message similar to the one of following:
%%[ Error: stackunderflow; OffendingCommand: exch ]%%
%%[ Error: typecheck; OffendingCommand: mul ]%%
These problems may occur when you run a PostScript file through Adobe Acrobat Distiller or when you try to print directly to a color PostScript printer.

This problem occurs if both of the following conditions are true:
The publication contains either BorderArt frames, imported Windows Enhanced Metafile (EMF) graphics that have transparent borders, or both.
The printer driver is configured to convert grayscale graphics to PostScript gray

To resolve this problem, turn off the Convert Gray Graphics to PostScript Gray option. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Quit Publisher if it is running.
2. Click Start, and then click Printers and Faxes.
3. Right-click the printer that you trying to print to, and then click Properties.
4. Click the Device Settings tab.
5. Change Convert Gray Graphics to PostScript Gray to No.
6. Click OK.
