Gray Reproduction
Use this to select the Black Color mode for text and line art.
The following table shows the tabs or menus where you can select this function.

[Gray Reproduction (Text/Line Art):] in [Advanced] by selecting [Manual] from the [Color] setting. [Automatic] sets the printer to “Pure Black Text”. |

You can select the following items:
Black by K
Prints using black toner
Black/Gray by K
Prints black using gray.
CMY + K
Prints using all toner colors.
Black/Gray by K (Text only)
Prints black text in gray.
Black by K (Text only)
Prints text using black toner.
